How I got close to weddings...
Growing up, my parents owned and operated a 15-room hotel, it was located in a 300 years old castle. It was beautiful.
That was when I first got close to weddings. I remember the gorgeous white dresses, beautiful brides in the “English Garden”.
Unfortunately my parents sold the Hotel but the love for weddings, never faded...
I went to collage choose hospitality and event management major.
After graduation I worked for an event planner company for 2 years in Germany. Then in 2002 I came to the United States. I started to work for a high-end hotel in St. Augustine, North Florida. Than I moved down to the south part of Florida.
Fortunately I got back to the wedding world.
First as a banquet captain, then as a wedding coordinator. I worked 40-60 weddings a year.
I have seen many ways to have a perfect wedding and experienced the mistakes brides did, because they were careless and they tried to do it on their own, asking for no help.
If professional help is not around it is easy to overlook little things. Finally the coordination fells apart if the single details are not put well together.
When my best friend got engaged, she asked me to plan her wedding.
I did and she was the most beautiful bride ever... We planned all the details carefully, as picture gets painted, step by step and on the wedding day it just everything naturally happened as it was planned. Picture perfect.
And we saved lots of money!
Recently I went back to school took the course and became Certified Wedding Planner.
Now, I am here and ready to plan your unique wedding as well!
